Look at these beautiful bitches. Just look.

Goddamn.

All of these are flawless. But I mean, the Aveline.

Dear god.

edit: my apologies for the mistakes in the credits. I was working off someone else’s list and I really should have done my own research to make sure people got the appropriate credit.

props to all these amazing artists.

reblog for edits

Hi, this is missing f!Hawke.

madsabroo as f!Hawke

(also, because I’m biased)

hmwsgx as Flemeth

Thank you so much, uminoko and madsabroo, for the old lady Flemmy love. Whenever I talk about my Flemeth costume I always make sure to preface that I am not AmazonMandy because there is nothing worse than having someone disappointed I am not her. She does an amazing job and it is very flattering that people get me mixed up with her, it is just really depressing after awhile that I have to say I am not AmazonMandy or LoveSquad (for Aria) since I felt like I was disappointing people. So, thank you, it really means a lot.

Sorry that turned into a more personal post. But there is more Alibear cosplay love, and if you love DAO/DA2 cosplay all of those cosplayers are flawless and beautiful people.

(Also y’all forgot Anders! Jancola’s husbando)

Maker Bless this Amazing post.

i was working on that sebastian redesign that i posted a little while ago when i suddenly wondered if starkhaven—or even more specifically, the vael family—had some sort of family crest or symbol, like the amells.  searching the internet brought up almost nothing, so i went digging through the DAII game assets.

turns out there is a starkhaven crest.  and a whole bunch of others i’ve never seen before.  so i decided to take the raw files and do something useful with them.

these symbols were taken directly from the DAII game art assets folder.  most likely these are not all the symbols that show up in the game, but i don’t have access to the legacy and mark of the assassin DLC assets since those files are encrypted.  a number of these are also probably not official (canonically) either.  my guess is that some of them were concepts that later got changed/refined or just scrapped.  they’re still fairly interesting to look at though.

there are probably a number of symbols some of you may recognize (especially if you’re the diligent type to go shifting through the dragon age wiki or bioware’s blog).  i left them in there regardless, for those who may have not seen these before.

if you would like to have the crests/symbols as individual files, all at larger res, you can download them [HERE]!

Imperial Archon of Tevinter
right here Nashi XD

Secretly this is how the Archon is selected.
Everyone goes on about how awful Tevinter is with its blood magic and slavery and a billion other things that all the other places have (just in secret) but actually they’re just jealous because the entire ruling body is drag queens.
Manila Luzon can be First Enchanter.

Latrice Royale is the Black Divine. Obviously.

Why the Qunari haven’t been able to smash them out yet. It’s got nothing to do with magic. The Qunari forces are struck dumbfounded with only the ability to yell WERRRRRRRK

Yeah, well, good thing Morrigan doesn’t think much of you, either.

So…she did something she DID NOT WANT TO DO for the sake of saving her friend, and this person “has never thought good of her since.”
Oh.
Okay.
People are idiots.

talldarkbishoujo replied to your post: I feel kinda terrible about this, but…

lmao. actually no, because ME3 was actually amazingly good with a couple of exceptions right up until the very end when it all went to shit. DA2 had the opposite problem imo.

talldarkbishoujo replied to your postI feel kinda terrible about this, but…

you are dead on about the railroading though.

Except that DA2 was railroaded pretty much from the beginning. How many quests could you say “I won’t do this one sorry” to and still wound up HAVING to do?

Pretty much

uh

ALL OF THEM?

The ending was the worst part of it all, though, and the whole “No decisions made any impact” thing is where I drew the correlation. It’s like you could spend the ENTIRE GAME working to fix things a little bit maybe (just a LITTLE) and the ending is going to be pretty much exactly the same no matter what, you have no choice.

Sigh.

I’m glad I am not the only one tired o being punched in the gut. I love lows, but I want at least a balance. I want an option for an ending that will make me feel like everything can be okay. Not that it’s fucking puppies and rainbows, but it’s really disheartening to work your ass off, do all the “right” things and have the ending still end up the same as if you WANTED to screw it up royally. :(

If the Warden sacrifices herself while in a romance with Alistair.

Here’s the thing that gets me here.

Riordan says that the soul of the Grey Warden who strikes the final blow is destroyed, along with that of the Archdemon.

So.

Alistair knows what he is saying is a lie, because he needs to lie to the people to help comfort them.  What is he supposed to say, the huge Grey Warden secret?

Nope.

So his heart is breaking, knowing that there is no chance that she’s in a better place.  Her soul isn’t anywhere.  It’s ceased to exist.

And this just makes me want to give him the most giant of hugs. ;____;

Cacophony [ DA2; Anders, Nathaniel ]

kingofbeartraps:

The sky is dark. Everything smells of ash and acid.

They’re all going to die here—every last one of them, mage or not. The knight commander is red and burning and will not be stopped, and they are all going to die.

Anders has known he’s going to die from the beginning. From the moment the Templars came picking their way through smoldering wreckage of his family’s barn, led by his father, and pulled him from his mother’s arms, he knew.
