lmao. actually no, because ME3 was actually amazingly good with a couple of exceptions right up until the very end when it all went to shit. DA2 had the opposite problem imo.

you are dead on about the railroading though.Except that DA2 was railroaded pretty much from the beginning. How many quests could you say “I won’t do this one sorry” to and still wound up HAVING to do?
Pretty much
uh
ALL OF THEM?
The ending was the worst part of it all, though, and the whole “No decisions made any impact” thing is where I drew the correlation. It’s like you could spend the ENTIRE GAME working to fix things a little bit maybe (just a LITTLE) and the ending is going to be pretty much exactly the same no matter what, you have no choice.
Sigh.
I’m glad I am not the only one tired o being punched in the gut. I love lows, but I want at least a balance. I want an option for an ending that will make me feel like everything can be okay. Not that it’s fucking puppies and rainbows, but it’s really disheartening to work your ass off, do all the “right” things and have the ending still end up the same as if you WANTED to screw it up royally. :(
